Juan joined MidPen in 2024 as Senior Director of Leasing and was instrumental in managing an unprecedented volume of lease-ups. With extensive experience in stabilized compliance from his work with affordable housing owner-operators, Juan brings a wealth of knowledge to his current role, where his focus is on enhancing compliance across MidPen’s portfolio, particularly in systems and policy.
Prior to joining MidPen, Juan was the Senior Director of Compliance for BRIDGE Housing. While there, he created a reporting system to follow-up on pending annual certifications. Juan also worked as the Director of Compliance for Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation where he developed a new funding layer matrix for all properties.
