Dawn started with MidPen in December 2020 and is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of data-driven initiatives at MidPen. As Director of Data Analytics and Reporting, she leads the creation of interactive dashboards and reports that provide insights to inform operational improvements and executive decision-making. Additionally, she collaborates with other MidPen leaders to develop comprehensive metrics and KPIs to measure the social impact of MidPen’s programs.
Prior to joining MidPen, Dawn worked in healthcare for over 15 years supporting operational improvement initiatives at Dignity Health, Kaiser Permanente, and PeaceHealth. She has also worked in institutional research and analysis for 7 years at University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) and Arizona State University and likes to say she worked to support the big three Hs–higher education, healthcare, and now housing.
Dawn is very proud of the work that her team has done in collaboration with the MidPen IT team to build a sustainable information infrastructure, expanding the data warehouse and building the data library of self-service reports.
Dawn makes pizza with her family every Friday night and they have spent years perfecting their recipes and techniques. She has a backyard garden where they grow tomatoes, basil, and other toppings. Dawn also makes and cans tomato sauce herself, and usually cans around 3 gallons of sauce every year from their tomato harvest.
